Storytelling is a "Trojan horse" for learning. You can tell stories, and people will listen; they won't even know that they're (supposed to be) learning! 

Traditional storytelling has meaningful repetition. Because language acquisition begins with listening, storytelling is great for improving students' oracy.   

As an art form, storytelling speaks to the soul. It touches the heart and engages the imagination so that a deeper level of listening and meaning can emerge.  

Every storyteller carries a part of his or her world, culture and history to share. We allow students to learn first-hand about other places in the world.
